MEDICAL AID - #LOVEGAZA, PALESTINE
Dear friends and family, I've agreed to do a charity cycle ride from Cambridge to London (approx 60 miles) on the 14th July 2018.
One of the main reasons I took up this challenge was due to the worthy cause it's linked with, helping the people of Palestine!!!
As most of you are aware, Palestinian people have been persecuted in their homeland for years with devastating effects on their lives, (especially children)
so with your help and support, I wish to raise money to aid them in medical supplies.
As this is the month of giving, I hope you dig deep and contribute, whatever contribution you make will save lives!!
Thank you in advance for your generosity, may Allah SWT shower you all with more barakah in your earnings and reward you abundantly.
For over 50 years the Palestinian territories has seen a devastating toll on its inhabitants. Over 2 Million people in Gaza are living under a humanitarian crisis which can unfold at any given time.
With the recent violence hospitals are at breaking point with calls for medical equipment and supplies. Over 50 have been killed and 2,000 injured amongst them our children. Help us support hospitals in Gaza with medical aid to tend to the wounded, with medical equipment to enable lifesaving surgery and with hope and love so they may stand tall when they face injustice.
Muslim Charity with your help has been tirelessly working with the Palestinian people providing medical aid, safe water and supporting our widows and orphans.
Update Protests along Israel’s perimeter fence with Gaza having resulted in the highest number of both fatalities and injuries since the ‘Great March of Return’ began on 30 March. On 14th of May 18, 55 Palestinians were killed, including six children (one female), according to the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza. Some 2,771 people were reported injured, including 1,359 by live ammunition, with 130 people in a critical condition, according to the MoH.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health has announced a state of emergency, with the danger of acute shortages of basic medication. Ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qedra said the needs would soon become critical. “We are already facing a severe shortage — 35 to 40 percent — of needed medicines and disposables, which impacts the treatment of the growing number of injuries because of the current escalation, Israel’s 10-year blockade of Gaza has caused infrastructure and services to collapse, provoking a humanitarian crisis for nearly two million people, mostly refugees, who have been effectively trapped inside.
