We undertake critical brain tumour research to improve survival rates across the World.

Story

Our son, Zach has been diagnosed with Retinoblastoma and Pineoblastoma which are cancer of the eye and brain. This page has been set up in response to the generosity of friends and family of Zach, some of whom he has never met, wanting to donate money in aid of him. We have chosen this charity as they are the people who carry out the research that help cure children with brain tumours. They are based in the Queens Medical Centre where Zach receives his treatment. Prof Richard Grundy is Zach's consultant and is also a head of a research team in the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre (CBTRC) which was established in 1997 along with Prof David Walker. To find out more about them and their work please click on the link, http://www.cbtrc.org/cbtrc/research/research.aspx
