With less than 7 weeks until Christmas most of us have begun the pre-Christmas preparations. TV adverts are advertising yummy Christmas treats, families are deciding whose turn it is to cook Christmas dinner, we are dusting off the address books in preparation for sending out Christmas cards, not to mention stressing over the dilemma of what to wear to the Christmas work do.

It’s also the time of year when the empty chair around the dinner table pulls heavily on our hearts and we remember our loved ones lost to Cancer.

As Flo and I will not be in the UK/France this year for the festive celebrations, rather than presents and cards, we are asking Friends and Family to sponsor us through - The Harlem Shake Challenge – Down Under!

Over the next 7 weeks we will be travelling Western Australia and ‘shakin our thang’ outside some of Australia’s famous landmarks in the name of Cancer Research. We will be posting one video per week on facebook and on our JustGiving page.

This may sound like an easy challenge compared to fund raisers like ‘The Race for Life’ but the real challenge lies in finding courageous volunteers along our journey and convincing them to dance like idiots in public!!!
