Wolseley Maidenhead - Rosie's Rainbow Fund Walk

Wolseley Maidenhead - Rosie's Rainbow Fund Walk · 11 April 2019
Rosie’s Rainbow Fund recognises the physical, emotional & spiritual impact a child's serious or life-limiting illness or disability has on a child as well as the family unit. We offer a multi-pronged approach to supporting children & families through every phase of coping with serious illness & disability in hospital, schools, & the community. We provide music therapy to children in hospital, pastoral care & therapeutic massage for parent carers, special-needs music classes in schools, & bereavement counselling to parents who have lost a child.
Wolseley - South Region Charity Challenge!
From Penzance to Southend-on-Sea, via the South Region's 135 branches, passing our 'scrapbook baton' as creatively and quickly as possible in May, from one branch to the next, and including our branches in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Wight along the way!
At every stop, each branch will create their own Wolseley 'person' made from copper, take a photo of the branch team with it and include both the photo and a message of support on a page of the scrapbook.
What we're doing?
For our leg of the challenge, we are taking the baton from Wolseley Maidenhead to Wolseley Pipe Center in Slough.
To raise as much money as possible, we plan to move the 'baton' by walking the five miles distance between the two branches in fancy dress - with Tinky Winky of Teletubbies fame leading the race as costume of choice!!
We'd really appreciate your support, thank you!
