Story

A team of 11 cyclists will be leaving the Screwfix warehouse in Trentham at 6pm on Wednesday 17 July with the aim of reaching the Screwfix Head Office in Yeovil, Somerset before a Parcelforce Pre 10 delivery.

The team, consisiting of staff from Wincanton for Screwfix, Dematic and Parcelforce will be cycling through the night continuously in a relay format in pairs.  They will be travelling through various towns on their way down to Yeovil, for example Newport, Kidderminster, Worcester, Gloucester and Bristol, supported by 3 support drivers.  Parcelforce have kindly provided a van for transporting the bikes and team.

They will need to cover 195 miles and keep an average speed of 14mph in order to reach Yeovil before the estimated delivery time of a pre 10 order.
