Story
Hello all and thanks for taking time to read this. Over the last 3 years I have seen first hand what a terrible disease cancer is and how much support is required for the patients and families involved. Earlier this year a good friend and colleague, Rob Kinsey, sadly lost his battle with cancer. During Rob's illness, Rob was cared for by his family at home and also by Woking Hospice.
In memory of Rob, myself and around 20 friends and colleagues of Rob's have decided to run the Windsor Half Marathon in order to raise money for Woking Hospice which is a registered charity as a way to show our appreciation for the care and support they provided to Rob and his family.
Rob was a tough guy who would have probably run this half marathon backwards whilst carrying a sheep on his back, but for someone as unfit as me, who hasn't done any exercise since having kids, it is no easy feat! So please dig deep and please donate any spare money you may have to this worthwhile charity!
Thanks again for reading and take care.
