We fund bone cancer research & grant wishes to seriously ill people #makingmemories

Story

We are the Wibbly Wobbly Wobbleberries who are doing the Wobbleberry Challenge to raise money for the Willberry the Wonder Pony charity which was set up by the late Hannah Francis, an inspiring young eventer who, very sadly, passed away last year. Before she died she worked so hard in setting up the Willberry the wonder pony charity raising money for the cancer charity
Inspired to continue her legacy the charity was approached by a small group of riders who had never competed in Eventing and described themselves as middle aged. The challenge is to compete in a BE80 event doing dressage, showjumping and cross country. The Wobbleberries were set up. So popular was it that riders from all over the country wanted to get involved and so the Wobbleberry challenge grew to unimaginable proportions.
There was such a mix of inexperienced and experienced riders in various guises and some wanted to do the challenge but hadn't even cantered or jumped a cross pole, so a Facebook group called the Wibbly Wobbly Wobbleberries emerged with about 400 members who had a 'safe haven' to come to and gain confidence and support from others in the same boat.
It was recognised that not all will be able to complete the challenge in a year or to complete a BE80 but still want to do an ODE or some other challenge, and so this year the Wibbly Wobbly Wobbleberry Riding Club is born. A chance for those of us who may take a little longer, or inexperienced and are starting from scratch but are determined to raise as much as they can.
