A team of nine staff from Hampshire law firm Warner Goodman LLP will be taking part in the Great South Run on 28 October, raising much needed funds for Southampton based charity, Families of Ocean Ward. 

 

Ocean Ward is Southampton's Paediatric Cardiac Unit based at Southampton General Hospital, and Families of Ocean Ward provides emotional and financial support to families making use of those facilities.  Their aim is to help bridge the gap between home and hospital by putting families in touch with others whose child has a similar condition and experiences similar problems and issues. 

 

Jane Cox, Private Client solicitor from Warner Goodman LLP, stated, “As a firm we are keen to actively take part in local events and show our support for the community, and the Great South Run is the perfect opportunity for us to do this.  After only being established for 2 short years, Families of Ocean Ward has co-ordinated a huge variety of fund-raising events, and we hope that our contribution will help them grow further, and offer more support to those who need it.”
