Story

My little brother, Jacob, suffers from a condition called ectodermal dysplasia. Those of you who've met Jacob will know the difficulties this causes for him: he has only two fingers on each hand; two toes on each foot; a cleft palate; has problems with his plumbing, is practically allergic to sunlight and suffers too many other disadvantages to list here.

Despite this, he's a cheerful, stoic little sod who never lets his problems stop him doing anything. He's the bravest person i've ever met - he rarely moans about his lot, despite having spent his whole life going in and out of hospital for the many operations he requires.

The vast majority of Jacob's medical care takes place in Leeds, and because of this I want to try and give something back for the care, patience and skill they've shown in taking care of him.

Please make a donation so that kids like Jacob can continue to get such wonderful treatment - and to keep me motivated as i huff and puff around the streets of West Yorkshire!
