Story

Why Manchester to Dingle? I moved to Manchester in 1996 and have lived half my life there. I grew up in Dingle; a rural, beautiful place in the south west of Ireland. I have made the journey many times; by coach, train, car and plane. This time I'm walking.

Why walk for Aoife? My sister Aoife (pronounced eefa) couldn't walk. Or talk. She had severe brain damage which left her without the use of her physical body or the ability to communicate and use her brain as most people do. Aoife passed away in 2011 after an illness. She was 33. I am walking for her.
