Dad died on the 1st July 2015 with his partner Alan Green in a tragic accident in their swimming pool & I wanted to support this fantastic charity to help prevent accidents happening again. Myself & my best mate Andy Faull, a good friend of Dad, will be running the Worcester Half Marathon & raising funds for the RLSS in memory of Dad with me ..... Around 400 people needlessly drown in the UK every year and thousands more suffer injury, some life changing, through near-drowning experiences.Putting this into context, one person dies every 20 hours in the UK. Drowning is also the third highest cause of accidental death of children in the UK.Ongoing funds are vital to the success in reducing the amount of drowning tragedies and accidents that happen in the UK every year. Please give & help save lives
