Story

Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page for Ace Africa.

A group of 11 of us are travelling to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in October.  It will take us 6 days of gruelling trekking to reach the summit, 5,895 metres above sea level.  Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain on the African continent so will be a big challenge for all of us, especially for us novices!

We wanted to help support a charity working near the mountain and Ace Africa works with communities near Kilimanjaro.

Ace Africa  believes in building sustainable futures for children and their communities in rural Tanzania and Kenya.  They work with communities over a 10-15 year period with the aim of those communities becoming self-sustaining.  Key areas of focus are: strengthening skills, systems and partnerships to address child development, community health and wellbeing and community livelihoods.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
