Life-Climb 2013 is a National Event organised by Kate Harbridge and due to take place on 1st June 2013. Kate and Karen, who we are doing the walk in honour of, studied photography together at college and began a friendship that touched Kate's heart leading her to bring together a group of women who all shared two things in common - their love for Karen (who passed away this year from breast cancer) and their battle against Breast Cancer.
In 2013, more than 50 women will be aiming to summit Mount Snowdon to fulfill a wish for their beloved friend. During the time leading up to their event they will be working hard to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support who have provided excellent services for those who have suffered or who still are fighting a war against  Cancer. 

I am doing this myself because I am passionate about what Macmillan has to offer - it is a wonderful charity and has been a great help to me during my three years of treatment.  I never knew Karen but she was and continues to be so inspirational to so many which is truly wonderful.
