I'm raising money for Bliss which is a UK Chairty who provide the best possible care and support for all premature babies and their families.

Orlagh was born 4 weeks prem on Christmas Day last year weighing a tiny 3lb 12oz. I had to be induced on Christmas Eve due to reduced growth which had been monitored over a few weeks.

She was a taken straight to NICU at Southmead after the birth where she was in an incubator for 24hr and then a hot cot for the rest of her stay. I feel very lucky to say we were there for two weeks before returning home. 

Orlagh didn't have any medical problems at birth just issues with feeding but with the help and support of the Doctors, Nurses and Nursery Nurses they helped us to get her home with the continued support of the NICU Community Nurses.

Now 5 months on Orlagh weighs 12lb 9oz and we are so proud of the progress she has made and continues to make.
