By donating you are helping many people across the North West. I am undertaking this challenge in memory of my parents Joe and Brenda Fleming. They both passed away due to cancer, my father had lung cancer and my mum had breast and bowel cancer. 
My memories of my mum are that she was a caring and giving person. When she passed, my dad raised the rest of us on his own and each year raised money for cancer charities back home in Northern Ireland.

The 300 event is designed to be a challenge for me but as hard as it may be it could never match the challenge of living with cancer. Hopefully it will be entertaining as well as a platform for raising money for this very worthwhile cause.
