Hannah Francis was a very talented and courageous young lady.  Diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, an aggressive bone cancer, at the age of 17.  During which time she set up the Willberry Wonder Pony Challenge.  Aimed at raising funds to help research into bone cancer and grant wishes to seriously ill people and their families of an equine nature.  

Having lost my father aged 50,  my sister-in-law and father-in-law to cancer, as well as working in a cottage hospital with palliative patients I only know too well the impact cancer has on everyone's lives.

Horses are my life, I have spent the last 50 years with them; they are my sanity...  The last 16 years have been spent grooming at and chauffeuring my daughter to various events.  With my daughter's exams looming and her work commitments, I now find myself with a lovely 14.2 pony called Twix.  We are both too young to retire, so now its our turn before its too late.

My Wobbleberry Challenge is to compete a British Eventing 80 by Autumn 2017.  This involves dressage, showjumping and cross-country all in one day!  To do this I'm going to have to get fit, lose weight, build my confidence and remember to breath (not easy!!)  But nothing compared to what cancer sufferers have to endure.
