I’ve chosen to support The Lister hospital as my daughter was born 3 months early and spent her first 3 months of her life in the unit, She was very well cared for by the staff at the unit.     My daughter was born weighing just 1lb 13oz  her weight quickly dropped to 1lb 6oz. she was not fully formed when she was born and fit in our hand. As soon as she was born she was rushed to the neonatal intensive care unit and was put straight on a ventilator. I also lost my son at the same time.so as you can imagine this was a very hard time for me and my family,  The hospital was a great help to me and my daughter and if it wasn’t for the unit she may not be here today. The units nurses DRs and other staff at the hospital were a complete rock to me.
