I am part of a crazy Tri team. It started with the goal of supporting a very special lady who wanted to complete a Triathlon back in 2013. Since then she unfortunately lost her battle. This year the original team wanted to raise a tribute team in her memory. They started with a goal of a team of 25, since then it has surpassed the 100 and is now very close to the 200 mark. I decided to join them and rather than sit on the side lines as a cheerleader, complete my first ever sprint Triathlon. I'm doing this not only in memory of Helen but also two other friends I have lost in the last 18 months, one very recently and my Aunt. Most of us know someone who has fought, is still fighting or who has unfortunately lost the battle against this cruel and sneaky disease. If you don't you are one of the lucky few and I hope you never brush shoulders with it. Help me raise money so we can Kick it's Arse!
