Story

A few years ago I made the folks at Skullduggery LARP a promise - that if they helped me raise £500 in a year for S.O.P.H.I.E, I'd bleach my hair blonde. 3 years later,  we hit the £500 target! So it is that for the 19th of February, I will be going blonde ...

This page is really for my non-Skully friends, who want to show their support (or gleeful delight) - though of course my Skully friends are welcome to donate more if they want to. I've been black-haired since I was 16, & I love it, so this is something of a big deal for me! If you give genereously, I'll be sure to make sure you all see the photographic evidence ...

***************UPDATE*************

13/02/12: The deed is done ... I am now blonde! There's a couple of early photos for you to enjoy / take as evidence ... this page will be here for a little bit longer, for anyone who wanted to save their donations until I'd actually done it! (I can't believe the lack of faith some people had in me ... for shame!!!!)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

Following the horrific murder of Sophie Lancaster, her family wanted to ensure a lasting legacy to their beautiful, bright creative daughter and so The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was established and it became a registered charity in 2009. We do this through various means including education.
