Story
Well it is done!!! Our team of 10 all turned out in what was very wet and windy conditions to run the Tonbridge half marathon. The jovial atmosphere at the beginning lead to a strong start for all.
While some strided through the whole way seemingly with ease others found it much more of a strugle and a couple ran through injuries suffered part of the way around.
But despite the rain, tiredness, injuries and pain the whole team completed the event in times ranging from 1hr 40 to just over 3hrs.
A Massive well done to everyone. A Well deserved victory.
Thank you to all that have sponsored us so far, please remember its not too late so please keep that sponsorship coming and show your support for the Maisy Rose Project.

We, at Total Control, have put together a team of unfit engineers and office based staff to run the 2012 Tonbridge Half Marathon in aid of 'The Maisy Rose Project' in memory of a beautiful little girl who sadly passed away in 2009. She suffered from a very rare brain tumor which went undetected and then misdiagnosed for months. The correct diagnosis was finally found by a specialist in the USA.
Her dedicated parents have set up this charity in her name under the Wishing Well scheme to raise awareness in the UK and funds to plough into research of rare Brian Tumors so that Maisy can help children and families in similar situations.
So please dig deep and sponsor us anything that you can, every little bit helps, and makes the extremely hard work we are putting in all worthwhile. And believe us this is going to be tough!
