Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
When I first read about Hannah Francis ,I was shocked that 30 years after I nursed teenage cancer patients ,our young people continue to loose the fight to these very agressive forms of bone tumours .Treatment hasn't moved on massively ,more research and funding into treating this horrible disease could be a turning point In reducing the numbers of young lives lost each year.
I have been a "happy hacker " for many years ,then , 3 years ago I bought Neala a rising 4 yr old Irish sports horse X Connemara .We have been on a journey and learned lots of things from each other and had some professional help when Neala turned into a diva at 5 yrs old .mostly we have weekly lessons and we are getting better ! I wanted to do dressage but Neala thinks it's really boring and loves jumping ,so to keep her interested we started having a few jumping lessons even though I hadn't jumped in years and she was big ,unbalanced and very gung-ho ! I find the whole jumping thing terrifying as I'm still learning and she insists on jumping 2 ft 3 as if it's 4 ft ! As for cross country ....no brakes ,no steering !! When we jumped a clear round this year it was a great achievement .For us to compete in an 80cm one day event involving 3 disciplines is a massive challenge and I'm going to buy reinforced massive big bravepants !! thank you for supporting us and helping raise lots of money to improve cancer treatment for our teenagers X
