Thank you for coming here. So this is the same idea as last year's run. Your sponsorship money is to raise money jointly for two very good causes: MedEquip4Kids, and FC United, two things dear to my heart.

There is just one small possible catch, however. With Anitra due to give birth to our second daughter a matter of 24 hours after the race, there is a chance that the littl'un may arrive early, thus scuppering my plans to run in this event (we can but hope).

In the unlikely (??) event of this happening, I still promise to push my weary frame around 5.8 km of misery at some point thereafter, so you all feel like you got your money's worth in pain out of me....
