Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

I recently went to visit the Clan Centre in Aberdeen, what a fantastic place!  A cancer support drop-in (A brew always on the go!), trained personnel to talk to, all ages catered for, various 'alternative' therapies on offer, and a small 'hotel' style wing to provide accommodation should you not live locally and require a room while you undergo cancer treatment.

Clan already have a number of outreach centres and have recently completed negotiations for a property in Elgin.  They are in the process of fitting out and are planning a reception / lounge area (Coffee etc close at hand!), rooms for therapists to carry out their treatments, and an information bank with literature about various cancers and treatments available, nutrition, and where to get assistance or further information for the newly diagnosed.

Any donations will help to fund this much needed facility in Elgin.

Thanks.
