Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am running the Great North Run (for the first time) to help raise money for Pete's Pancreas Project.

The aim of the charity is to raise money to provide research into pancreatic cancer, the fourth most common type of cancer in the UK.

Pete Dowen was only a month into his retirement when he was diagnosed with this hideous disease, and to be given the chance to raise money for such a valuable and worthy cause is a privilege.

If you would like any further information on Pete's Pancreas Project and the work that the charity does, you can go over to www.petespancreasproject.co.uk and have a look.

Thanks guys,

Tom x
