We are a 24 hour search & rescue service to save lives at sea

Story

I'm taking part in Acer UK's 2016 media challenge: The Scilly Walk!

This will be my third time joining the brilliant Acer UK team on one of their madcap challenges - pulling tech journalists away from the comfort of their laptop screens and getting some much-needed exercise, while raising some cash for charity on the way.

For 2016, I'm going to be walking, kayaking, swimming(!) and coasteering - whatever that is - 75 miles across the Scilly Isles to raise some much-needed cash for the RNLI.

I'm no endurance runner - in fact I can barely run at all, so this is definitely going to be tough. Any support you can give will go a long way to help the RNLI and making it all worth the effort.

Thanks for your help!

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
