Story
Greetings! As many of you will know, I have a dicky ticker*, so I thought it was about time I set myself a physical challenge and raised some money for a good cause at the same time.
For years my bike has been my company car to get to and from work, but two years ago I had to acquire an actual car because heart palpitations meant I couldn't cycle anywhere.
Treatment (on the NHS) and a year's travelling (sadly not) sorted out those pesky palp probs, so I decided to set myself a target: entering the Santini Cotswold Spring Classic Sportive and (hopefully) cycling 100 miles in a day.
The scary part is there's a broom wagon driving along at 12mph behind us, just waiting to sweep up any slowcoaches, so your donation might just give me the extra edge I need to avoid ending up in the back.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Cheers,
Tim
