Story

Project ‘Aga Sikolo’ (means ‘Build a School’)

A group of 36 undergraduate architecture students and staff from the University of Nottingham are heading to South Africa in Easter 2013, to build a nursery school that has been designed by the students. This will be the third project in which we have collaborated with the charity Education Africa to design, fund-raise and build pre-schools for poor communities in South Africa. The previous schools have made a significant impact upon the lives of hundreds of under-privileged children and local communties in South African townships.

ALL the money that is raised will be directly spent on the building materials for the project itself. We would be extremely thankful of any donations and any support you are willing to provide us with.
