Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Always up for a challenge, especially if there's a really great charity to benefit. And challenges don't come much bigger than this. Africa's highest mountain, the world's largest free-standing mountain, and almost 5 times bigger than anything I've ever climbed before. From 35 degrees C at the bottom to over minus 20C at the summit. All 19,400ft of Kili demands the most from anyone who dares tackler her.
But that isn't going to put me off, because "Impossible is Nothing" in my opinion, and despite the immense physical effort required to climb to this summit (including the effects of altitude), I will achieve my goal. But I can only do it with your help.
This is a great challenge for a great charity, and I hope you'll support Children Today, my fellow walkers and myself as we prepare and actually undertake the 7 day trek to Uhuru peak and back.
For this trek, I will be sacrificing most of my spare time and days off for training, and also my annual holiday by contributing the usual amount I spend on sun, sand and sangria etc, and putting it straight to the cause.
So, please please please support me, and make a real difference to the lives of local children here in Lancashire.
Thank you again
