My Name is Thomas Hawkins, I am 18 years old and live in Swindon. On the 10/05/2014 I was told by my brother that my cousin had Cancer.

Since he is such an outdoor person I thought the UK 3 Peaks challenge would be the greatest thing to set up and achieve in a short period of time.

With Help from my lecturers at New College Swindon as well as Friends, Family and Work Colleagues myself and friends that have also been affected by cancer our aim was to complete this challenge and try to do it in 24 hours. As a team we completed the challenge though we did it in 27hours and 25 minutes.

We gave it all we could on those mountains but they never made it any easier. We were motivated as a Team by the thought of my cousin, my family and everyone else being happy and smiling for when we completed this challenge.

This is for you dude, We Gave it Our Best Shot and I couldn't of asked for anything more from the Team all together! Hope we did you and Teenage Cancer Trust Proud!
