Fundraising for Buttle UK
The Frank Buttle Trust provides grants for children and young people living in desperate circumstances across the UK.
Child Support applications reached record levels this year. Between October 2008 and September 2009 we made 9,449 grants. This total represents 2,370 washing machines, 1,933 cookers, 1,505 beds, 1,074 fridges/freezers and many other items classed as essential for a healthy, secure and more inclusive upbringing. Our School Fees Grant Programme allows us to help children enjoy the benefits of a sound and stable education. During the course of the past year we provided 300 children with a more stable and supportive educational environment. All of the children we help are extremely vulnerable, and sometimes the only alternative to receiving a School Fees Grant is being taken into care. Thanks to our Student & Trainee Grant Awards, The Frank Buttle Trust are able to offer educational support for young people under the age of 20 who are estranged from their families. Last year we helped 180 students who all share a strong belief that education and training will enable them to look forward to a more positive future and avoid a life living on state benefits. I can guarantee that every penny of your grant will be used to help those in desperate circumstances, as the Trust's running costs are met by the return on its investments. Thank you!* Charities pay a small fee for our service. Find out how much it is and what we do for it.
