We're taking part in The Big Walk 2019, a walking/running challenge on Friday 28 June. 

Our team are aiming to complete 37 miles walking through the Peak District starting at the University, heading out through Ringinglow down into Fox House, meeting the rest of the walkers at Bamford and continuing up through Ladybower and Bradfield (with a well-deserved refreshment stop at Our Cow Molly) before coming down to the University for a celebratory finish!

We work for the Financial Support Team at the University of Sheffield, and see first-hand the difference scholarships can make to a students’ experience whilst completing their studies.

Scholarships are vital to reduce barriers for bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds, giving them the opportunity to have a university education.

Joe, Carla & Adam took on the 50 mile challenge in 2017 and are back for more this time around! For Ella and Lucy, this is their first (maybe last?) Big Walk Challenge!
