Completed - Saturday, August 16th, I made a fancy-dressed appearance as Mickey Mouse at the 3rd anniversary event of my beloved Durham parkrun. Great fun was had by all :)

ABOUT ME:
Having turned 40 in 2009 I realised that I wasn't getting any younger and needed to get into shape.
I embarked on a get-fit campaign.
I began entering into 'fun' runs to give myself goals.
I then extended the 'fun' runs to include half-marathons ... and usually in fancy dress!
Now I run even more events, every year, including full marathons! (and yes, still in fancy dress).

Because my Dad had recently undergone a life-saving triple bypass I decided to use my passion and enjoyment to raise funds and awareness for The British Heart Foundation ... and I've been a proud Heartrunner ever since.

Please sponsor me to help lift my morale (and tired legs) in aid of this very worthwhile cause, to help continue their quest to find a cure for heart disease and to also help and support those affected by it.
