I've decided to join my wife in giving up smoking! We're doing it for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as her friend's sister has recently had a double lung transplant and inspired us to look after our own lungs better.

Not only will it be easier to do together, it will definitely help my career as a strongman!

I've also said that if I relapse within 6 months, I will donate half of the total donations received out of my own bank account. So if we raise our target of £1000, if I fail at giving up, I will personally donate £500 of my own money to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Even more of a reason for everyone to try and give us the biggest total possible!

I will also be giving away the t-shirt I wore at this year's Worlds Strongest Man finals to the person who gives the biggest donation by the 1st of November 2011. I will also sign it if required. All you have to do is carry on donating, and on the 1st of November, I will see who has donated the most and announce on Twitter and Facebook who it is. Then just send me your address via private message/direct message and I will send the t-shirt to you. Hopefully it will help raise more funds for a great cause!
