We are walking the Ridgeway in July, starting in Avebury and finishing in Streatley which is approximately 40 miles over two days.  

We are doing this to raise money for CLIC Sargent the UK's leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.

Joshua is the 4 year old son of a close family friend and is currently battling Rhabdoid Tumour, a rare and aggressive form of children's cancer and faces a long and difficult journey back to full health.

During his time in hospital, Joshua, his Mum and Dad are receiving a great deal of help and support from CLIC Sargent.

The Joshua Flynn fund is hoping to raise a total of £11,880 which would pay for a family room at one of CLIC Sargent’s “Home from Home’s” for a year.

CLIC Sargent has eight Homes from Home in the UK and are located within a 10 minute walk of the principle treatment centres. Staying in a Home from Home allows the family to be together while their child is undergoing cancer treatment. Something small like a family sitting down and enjoying a family meal together can be a very precious moment.

Every donation, however small, will go a long way towards helping other families who find themselves in this situation.
