During our recent JustGiving Company meeting we had the pleasure of hearing from Jess and Robyn. Robyn is one of the kids that has directly benefited from Whizz Kidz. Robyn inspired us to form a team and participate in the Whizz-Kidz Neon Night Walk.  She is also an ambassador for the walk and will lead our team for the first mile.  The walk takes place on the evening of Friday 1st of July and we will be walking 20 miles around London in support of this fantastic charity. 

In her own words:

“Whizz-Kidz is a really important charity to me as it helped me to keep up with my friends at play. When they run around in the playground, I can now join in with them! Before Whizz-Kidz, I wasn’t allowed outside in the big playground. During my lunch breaks I had to stay inside which made it harder to fit in with the other kids, but now I can go anywhere! When Whizz-Kidz gave me my powered wheelchair I was allowed in the playground and now I am able to join in with all of my friends! On Saturday mornings I go to Paralympics and play wheelchair football, hockey, cricket and netball. My favourite sport is hockey- I love being so active!”
