Story

Instead of going home directly from the pub like normal people on Saturday 17 September, Deb, Jane and Tom are taking part in a five-mile Midnight Walk for St Christopher's Hospice in Sydenham.

The wonderful team at St Christopher's provided invaluable treatment and support for our dear friend Janet Ellis, who died from cancer in August - so we wanted to do a little something to show our thanks and appreciation, and to help them continue their invaluable work.

(Funnily enough, Janet would have been the last person to walk five miles in the middle of the night. The phrase, 'In these heels?' springs to mind. She'd have rolled her eyes and ordered us all a cab instead. But she'd definitely be pleased that we're doing something to help the hospice.)

St Christopher's also cared for Jane's mum Pat Gibbens, who died in March 1995. We don't know what we would have done without them - so if you can help us support their work, we'll be very grateful.
