Story

Hi, my name is Louise Hazel - Team GB Olympic Heptathlete & Commonwealth Heptathlon Champion.  I am delighted to have been appointed the British Heart Foundation's RUNNING CHAMPION and can't wait to join the 3,000 people all taking part in the 1/2 Marathon & 10km run at Blenheim Palace on Sunday 6th October.

I will be leading a celebrity team - all of whom I am SURE you will know well - for the 10km run and they are already training hard to make sure they are in top form so please donate what you can to keep them motivated and help us raise money for this extremely worthy cause!!

The Team

LOUISE HAZEL, SPENCER MATTHEWS, NATALIE COYLE, GEMMA ATKINSON, FEMI OYENIRAN

KATIE BANKS (Closer), LOUISE SAUNDERS (MailOnline), JAMES LEYFIELD (Bang Showbiz), CHARLOTTE GRIFFITHS (Mail On Sunday), AMY WILLIAMS (YOU Magaizne), SAM DOWLER

Heart disease is the UK’s single biggest killer. In the UK it kills three times more women than breast cancer and can devastate the lives of families. Founded in 1961 by a group of medical professionals, The British Heart Foundation is now the UK’s number one heart charity.

Each year the BHF hosts 13 running events across the country, which attract over 20,000 runners and raises in excess of £2million. The Blenheim half marathon and 10k run is one of the biggest run events organised by The British Heart Foundation and is returning for the 3rd successive year on Sunday 6th October within the idyllic surrounds of Blenheim Palace.
