We raise money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

Evie is the same age as Josh and they went to pre school together so it was a shock when  Evie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in July 2014 after intensive chemotherapy she got into remission. Sadly, in June 2015 the leukaemia came back and she was also diagnosed with Myelodysplasia, which basically meant Evie's bone marrow was failing. She needed a transplant to stay alive.

The Royal Marsden have looked after Evie and given her a chance of a future. Without the Marsden Evie would not still be with us.

A group of family and friends who have followed Evie's progress through some tough times last year are getting together with Evie and her mum Nicki to walk 5 miles to raise money for Marsden and to Celebrate Evie's recovery following the miracle of finding a donor last year that has meant that Evie is now on what we hope is the road to recovery.

The Marsden has helped a lot of people I know and it would be great to give something back for all the support they have shown to everyone.
