We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

Thank you all for taking the time to visit the Team Beat It fundraising page. We are a group of 24 runners joining together to support the great cause of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

My name is Sam, and my sister Laura was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia on November 10th last year. The cancer was very harsh and she went through a lot of pain over the subsequent months afterwards. But due to medical advancements she has come out fighting and 7 months later she is now in remission.

If it wasn't for all of the hard work Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research have done over the past few decades in improving treatments and understandings of the disease, the end result may have been different. But there is still a long way to go to help stop cancer for good.

So, we wanted to run for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. We have 24 runners who are either friends or family of Laura's who all want to help this great cause. We want to help Beat It together.

So please join Team Beat It in helping us raise money for this cause. It's something that means a lot to the whole team.
