Story
2016 is the year of the 50th anniversary Round Britain Reliability Run, an event organized by Club Triumph and first held in 1966. It remains unchanged in its objective which is to drive around Britain covering over 2000 miles, taking in John O’Groats and Lands End in the process.
Originally conceived to promote the reliability of the Standard Triumph Marque, the event has since the 1990’s been run on a charitable basis and entrants have collected over £500,000.00 for various national charities. The only criteria being that all participants must complete the event driving a Triumph.
This years chosen charity is Guide Dogs.
Entry 46, Dads Stinky Stag is Sean Bradley and Chris Hancox who will be driving Sean’s 1975 MK11 Triumph Stag (christened Stinky by his children) in the event. The car is over 40 years old, is entirely original, retains its 3.0 litre Triumph V8 engine, and in its day was not exactly a model renowned for its reliability. That said we are confident of being able to complete the event which challenges both crew and vehicle alike.
Guide Dogs is a very deserving recipient for the 2016 event and we would like to thank you in advance for any donations you are able to give
