Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Taking place over two days, the ride starts in Durham and ends in Edinburgh, passing ten onshore wind farms in celebration of the UK renewable energy industry. The scenic route passes through the stunning hills and countryside of Northumberland, the Scottish Borders and East Lothian before reaching the finishing line on Edinburgh’s iconic Royal Mile.

Renewable World tackles poverty in developing countries by enabling the provision of affordable renewable energy systems for energy-poor communities. We work through partners to provide renewable energy services to the energy poor where financial or geographical barriers prevent public or private sector solutions being effective.
