Hi, my name is Tasha Williams and I am a 20 year old student studying Creative Writing at Edge Hill University. I am currently in my second year and discovered VESL through a friend who had gone abroad with them before.

VESL sends volunteers over to Thailand, India and Sri Lanka all year round to teach the children English as well as to help local communities. I thought travelling abroad to help others would be a magnificent experience and so I applied, had an interview and was accepted to go to Chiang Rai in Thailand for 6 weeks in June 2013.

So far I have fundraised £295 towards my trip. I need to raise £990 overall, so I was hoping if I set up this page that it would help towards this once in a lifetime oppurtunity.
