Story
Thanks for visiting my page!
I have taken up the challenge of a lifetime to trek up to Mount Everest base camp standing at 17,600ft tall to help raise funds for the Rohingya Emergency with Penny Appeal.
I will be undertaking a 17 day trek in Nepal. We will be starting in Kathmandu before trekking through some of the most beautiful peaks in the Himalayas. The stresses of altitude sickness, walking for several hours a day, colder temperatures has not deterred me; but only made me more determined to really push my limit this year (mentally & physically) and make a difference!
Where will the fundraising go?
The Rohinya Emergency appeal will help thousands of refugees in Balukhali refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar. The camp is home to 867,000 displaced refugees mainly women and children- who desperately need food, water, shelter and medical care to survive. Your donations will provide food, clothes, hygiene and sanitation items and supplies of clean, fresh water, alongside building much-needed shelters and toilets .
I must reach my target by September! There is a 100% donation policy- Zakat is also accepted. No donation is too small!
Every penny of the money raised through fundraising will be spent providing aid to Rohingya refugees.

I hope to post updates of training between now and the trek.
