Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
At about 8pm on Friday November 11th 2011 Jon, Jason, and Kev will set off on motorbikes from the Oddfellows Arms Pub in Toddington, Bedfordshire to travel over 4000 miles through at least 7 countries to reach the legendary city of Timbuktu in Mali and then turning round and covering another 4000 miles to get home.
The exact route may change between now and next November but we will be travelling from England through France, possibly Andora, Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal and Mali. The trip will also include at least 1000miles of stony and sandy desert piste far from civilisation
All the procedes from this trip will go to the Luton & Dunstable Hospital NICU Appeal to raise money to furnish and equip the brand new neonatal intensive care unit which will be built in 2011/12. Any donation will directly fund vital equipment needed by the new unit.
