Story

Many of you will knowing that I am fighting my own health battle at the moment. My challenge is to get back to normal, and not only ride again but complete a British Eventing one day event in 2017!

This is going to be a pretty major task. I am housebound for the next few months and I last completed an event (or did a dressage test!) about 40 years ago so this is going to be a huge challenge to  undertake. My daughter Claudia is going to be my coach so I see some stormy mother/daughter times ahead!

I met Hannah Francis, the founder of Wilberry Wonder Pony Charity  at Tattersalls International this Spring, where she fulfilled her dream of riding at an international event . She was a huge inspiration to everyone there, and I will never forget watching her ride the 2* dressage test with a huge smile on her face, despite being in terrible pain.
