Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi All,

Not everyone may know but over 2 years ago my husband Martin was diagnosed by The Royal Marsden Hospital with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He underwent months of arduous tests and treatment which resulted in him having a stem cell transplant on 28th January 2010. There were some very dark times which we would not have got through without the amazing care and support from the nursing and medical staff at the hospital.

For those of you that know Martin he was not the easiest patient to look after. I probably would have strangled him but with all their fantastic care he has now been in remission for 2 years and life is getting back to normal. I can't think of a better way to thank them than by joining in with the 14 mile walk and raising money for the Royal Marsden Hospital.
