Story
So this is why I will be running in freezing cold mud up to my arm pits, jumping off 5 meter platforms in to water so cold in renders you unable to breath or swim, and climbing up obstacles and people just to make it to the end of the course in the sunny warm month of MARCH!!! All whilst trying to maintain a smile for the brighter and smarter people who have elected to watch from the side lines with cameras poised.
I am running to raise money for the National Autistic Society, a charity very close to my heart, following our sons diagnosis. Although Charlies Autism is manageable and he is in a main stream school, I have been touched by other parents and their children who live with Autism, making their lives so much more complicated and challenging.
