Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It's 25 years since I last ran the GNR. I was much younger and fitter and did it for a laugh as well as for a sense of achievement.
This year I was talking to my sister who has raised money for Myeloma UK in the past and I suggested doing the Race for Life which I've only done once but she has achieved many times. Although we both agreed it was a very deserving cause we also agreed that, as Myeloma is one of the lesser known cancers, it is likely that running the GNR for this cause will not only help by raising money but also by raising awareness of this cancer.

I am aware that there are too many worthy causes out there to mention, and I know that friends and family have run, and are running, to support these. However I would be very grateful if you could support my efforts to run/walk/crawl this year's 13.1 miles on 15th September 2013 and, providing I survive, I might repeat the run in another 25 years!
So please dig deep and donate now.
