In March I ran the Warwick Half Marathon and on the 9th June I shall be running in the Two Castles 10km  http://www.twocastlesrun.org.uk during the following week I plan to climb Mount Snowdon to raise money for the Leamington & Warwick Khalsa Aid water for Africa Appeal.

The teams aim is to raise £20,000 for an end to end project to provide a clean water supply for a community in Kenya.  The people of a small village in the district of Kajiado south of Nairobi, Kenya have to collect water from 10 KM away. There are over 1000 people and over 2000 livestock in this village. Last year Khalsa Aid delivered over 100 Tons of aid to this drought affected region and decided to look at a more long term sustainable project.  The total cost for this project is estimated to be around £15K to £20K however, the final total depends on the depth of good water.
