I'm very proud to be participating in the University of Nottingham's Life Cycle 6, joining the Lochs and Glens team (20-22 May), cycling 200 miles to help raise over £1 million to enable the University of Nottingham researches to:

• detect cancer early
• stop cancer from spreading
• develop personalised treatment for cancer sufferers

The University of Nottingham is home to the world's first blood test to detect lung cancer and the research platform is now ready to target breast cancer.
